Opportunity, Earned On And Off The Field.

Alumni In Action was established in 2019 as a non-profit organization. AIA promotes athletics at Francis Polytechnic High School in Los Angeles, as well as other Los Angeles inner-city schools — helping students aged 14 to 17 with a 2.0 GPA or greater.

In The Classroom

A 2.0 GPA or greater is the door in — and the standard we help students hold, so athletics and academics carry each other rather than compete.

With The Family

“Never forget where you come from.”

Co-founder Craig Ellis grew up in South Central Los Angeles and passed through LA County Juvenile Hall as a teenager. Football took him to the Miami Dolphins and a record-setting CFL career. Now he goes back to that same juvenile hall to speak to the kids inside.
